OK, I just wasted who knows how long on Pyrex Love.com and its attached Flickr account. I’m sorry Pants, but I’m copying you in your obsessions for Pyrex! Just know that imitation is the highest form of flattery!

So, I decided to get out all my vintage Pyrex,and see where I was at….

Not too shabby, but when I think of Pants last Thrift shop haul,I swoon! I want more! I want a whole wall full of every pattern in every color! Can’t wait to go to DI tomorrow!

Pyrex Love

We hate the dentist.

Today I took Cassi, Jaren, and Jack to their childrens dentist for a check up. What started out innocently enough, turned into what Jaren called “The worst day of my life”.

After 2 1/2 hours, I started thinking of Steve Martin in “Little Shop Of Horrors”, thinking that maybe our dentist is some sadistic madman.

Cassi actually screamed in terror “No! Not again!” as he tried to numb her gum’s, and Mr. Dentist had to use his mean voice with her.

Jack cried and squirmed but was alright compared to Cassi.

Jaren took the cake though… after receiving laughing gas, he peed his pants he was so doped up. : (

What a crappy, sad day. Jaren swears he’ll never go back, at least that’s what I think he said, since his cheeks and tongue are still numb.

When I got home I was on the verge of tears, and Jay so kindly reminded me that this is my life. I guess I should be glad it was just one day of torture, move on and be glad that my kids have healthy, clean teeth. For now. Who knows if I’ll ever get them back in that dentist chair again!

Can anyone say… “OH MY GOSH!”?

Today I Am Liking….

1.Registering MaryJane for kindergarten! Starting in August, I’ll have 3 out of 4 kids in school. Weeee!

2. Pants and her Pyrex obsession. At first I’d go to DI and save the Pyrex I had found for her….but then I kinda started liking it…and that may make me a selfish,evil person, but this lot of Pyrex is MINE ALL MINE!!!

How great is that? Although Pants’ haul is major score-age! I need to go to her DI!

3.Jack and his love for Thomas the Tank Engine… Jaren LOVED Thomas,

and I’m so glad that I saved all his trains and train table and train tracks and train videos! Jack LOVES them, has even started saying “choo choo” and “Thomas”. CUTE!

I know, I know. I kinda dropped off the planet the last 2 weeks. But never fear, I have returned to the blogging world! Here’s what we have been doing…

It has been Spring break for the kids, and we have gone to the park almost every day…

We got our No Doubt tickets…. Weeeeee!

Jack discovered the joy of popsicles-

I went with Cassie and Patrick at Midnight last night to fight the throngs of people to get my copy of Twilight!!!

The kids all went to the dentist, we hung out with Grandma, Cassi went to Vegas with the Drew’s, and much much more…but I can’t take pictures of everything, sheesh!

I’ll try not to disappear for the next 2 weeks, but just in case…have a great weekend!
