Just found out that my Grandma Silvers passed away this morning. More than anything, I’m sad for my Mom-no one is ready to lose their Mother-no matter your age. I am glad that she went fairly quickly-she just found out she had liver cancer a few weeks ago, and has been going downhill for some time before that. I know that where she is now, is full of the people she loves and she’s very happy. We were not close,but I will try and remember the good things about her….like her junk drawers full of treasures, the dollhouse cabinets, the spooky basement and the great gifts she gave for Christmas! Happy eternity, Grandma.

We got Jack’s 4th pair of glasses today. These ones actually fit,and he seems to like them. At least, they aren’t broken yet, and he’s keeping them on fairly well.

And yes, I went specifically to the mall to get my issue of Vanity Fair with Hot Rob on the cover.

You got a problem with me and my Hot Rob T-shirt? I’ve already admitted to my obsession! I just can’t help myself….

Trick or treating tonight!

Couldn’t wait until tonight….

Since I didn’t have to work last night, I took the kids to Trunk or Treat at the Dixie State College with my sister and nieces-and a Spectrum reporter took Jack’s picture,and he ended up on the front page of the Community Section of the paper! The joys of living in a  small town! It was a small Trunk or Treat, but a  fun Halloween activity. Tonight is pumpkin carving with only one Rodgers-Cassie had baby Oliver last night, so she’s in the hospital still with baby…at least Patrick the pumpkin carving master will be here!Congratulations you guys! We went last night to see “Thriller” at Tuachan with the Drew’s-my new favorite yearly tradition! It was freezing cold,but still worth it. There are dancing skeletons (my favorite), zombies, and mummy’s- oh my! It’s just so cool! Anyone who hasn’t seen it yet,who lives in Utah, needs to go. Very worth it and the kids love it too! It was MaryJanes first year going,and she did well-had to get up tp go potty once,and complained of being cold (even with multiple coats, beanie, gloves and blankets-brrr!) But she loved it,although I couldn’t get her to take a picture with a zombie…

What fun!
